Today is a time of economic growth and opening to many foreign markets. Therefore, the number of various translations for legal entities rapidly increases. Suppose you consider expanding to a foreign market, import or export. If you want your company to operate on the international business scene, this text is for you.
You will need translations of various documents and procedures for participating in international trade relations. International business cannot exist without translating and adapting the language to the domestic market, also known as the localization process.
Localization is adapting textual content to the local market, that is, to the cultural and social specificities of a specific country, region, social community…
Concerning the translation of the text, localization can also include adapting national currencies, using different types of data recording, and using the meaning of names, phone numbers, specific holidays, cultural taboos, units of measurement, etc.
It is essential to do the localization properly to adapt to a specific target group.
English is the world’s number one language, especially in business.
Translation of documents and processes into English is considered the basis for international business because, without translation, there is no entry into the global market. Therefore, quality translation in an international environment is crucial for any company that wants to direct its time and money to success in that market. To be sure that your translations will be done flawlessly and by a professional – you can contact me here.
International companies use translations to provide information about products, services and business practices in the countries where they want to participate as service providers or product sellers. Their message has to reach the target group in the most efficient way possible. It is necessary to adapt communication to each specific culture and country. That is why hiring a person who will perform these translations professionally and with high quality is vital.
Translation of tender documentation for legal entities
If there is a tender written in English language, you need a translation of the tender itself, the documents, and everything contained in it from English into Croatian so that you know whether you meet the tender’s conditions and whether you want to apply. It will be necessary to study the tender itself before collecting the documents. You may also need to contact the tender organizer to clarify your conditions. In that case, feel free to hire me for all your translation needs because, in addition to translating documents, I can also help you with oral translation.
To apply for an international tender, you must obtain all the necessary documents and translate them into English. These can be legal documents, certificates, financial reports, and other reports. The content of such papers must be completely, accurately and precisely translated. In most cases, these documents must be certified by the signature and seal of an authorized court interpreter, and you can get such a complete service from me. Application deadlines are often short; remember that fast and high-quality translations are my speciality.
Why should you hire me to translate tender documents?
- I do translations quickly and with high quality,
- I deliver translations in digital or physical form (whichever suits you better),
- I pay special attention to the terminology of the tender itself,
- I shall provide you with the best service so that you can be sure that you have invested your money well,
- while you deal with your regular work and clients, I shall prepare the documentation for the tender, thereby relieving you of that stress.
Translation of financial documents
Many financial documents used on the international market are primarily written in English. It should also be emphasized that the laws of the countries where they were adopted are very different, so hiring a legal translator, like me, is very important. You want to hire someone who knows the English language and the legal side of international trade and finance. My many years of experience in translating legal documents of all kinds is a guarantee that the job will be done excellently.
If you need a translation of documents, contact me.
Also, maybe you want to sell your trading company or buy someone else’s. You may have inherited part of a foreign company. Or you can develop and expand your business to foreign markets. You will need a translation of the company’s financial situation in all these cases. It includes translating business plans, company assessments and financial statements to obtain information on the company’s value.
Establishment of trading companies
According to the Companies Act, a foreigner can also form a company in Croatia, either that as a citizen of a member of the European Union or a third country.
However, unlike Croatian nationals, if you are establishing a trading company as a foreigner, you will need a court interpreter in the procedure before the notary public. The court interpreter will translate the entire process orally and sign the record of the minutes upon forming the company.
This means that the entire procedure is interpreted, the activities of the company are interpreted, the legal consequences are interpreted, the payment of the share capital is interpreted, the registration application to the Commercial Court, as well as all the documents prepared by the notary public are also interpreted, namely:
- Application for registration in the court register,
- founding act – Articles of Association (signed by all the founders) or Declaration of the Establishment in case one person forms the company),
- statement of appointing the members authorized to represent the company on acceptance of the appointment,
- the decision on the appointment of board members,
- the director’s signature or the signatures of the board members,
- signatures of supervisory board members (if the company has a supervisory board),
- the decision on the appointment of the procurator of the company and his/her signature (if the company has a procurator), i
- decision on determining the address of the company.
A passport is required (obligatory for foreign citizens) to create all the documents mentioned above. During the company’s establishment, the presence of all the founders and other persons whose signatures need to be certified is mandatory, as well as the court interpreter who puts his signature that he has translated everything orally for the foreigner).
All documentation in a foreign language must be translated into Croatian by a court interpreter.
Does your legal entity need a translation of the website?
The Internet has become indispensable to everyday life and business, especially if you plan to expand to the international market. Therefore, the translation of your website has become necessary nowadays. Your website mirrors your business, and consequently, it must be well-translated. This includes translating product descriptions, technical characteristics, country currency and all other necessary information to make potential customers feel comfortable in your environment – your website. Everything must be clearly and comprehensibly written, translated and localized, i.e. adapted to the customs and culture of the country for which you are setting up a website. Make it easy for customers to buy from you.
What are the advantages of translating a website into English:
1. Business expansion: in addition to operating in the market of your country, a translated website enables you to expand your business to neighbouring countries and the world market. English is still the No. 1 language for international business. Translating your website into English opens the door to the global market. Customers will be just one click away from you and your offer.
2. This will inevitably lead to advantage number 2 – increased sales. Sales growth is one of the main goals of every company, including yours. Whether you want to export to all countries or provide services online – translation into English is the first step to increasing sales.
3. Strengthening trust between you and your customers: imagine that a customer finds what they need on the Internet, but the website is only in Croatian. A potential customer does not know where to click, how to buy, etc. And therefore, in a few seconds, you lose one customer, then another, and then dozens of them. However, suppose the site is translated into English. In that case, it will make the entire purchase process much easier for the customer and give them a superior user experience, making them remember your website and recommend it to others.
4. Better ranking on search engines like Google:
When people search for specific terms and search for them in English, your website will start appearing among the first results. Google likes to translate websites into multiple languages and rewards your seriousness and dedication to your business and visitors. Better positioning also means greater visibility and more visits to the website.
The translation must be done by a professional, not by a translation tool because you do not want to give the impression of an unprofessional company. On the contrary, by hiring a professional translator, you leave the impression of a reliable and professional company that cooperates with clients worldwide and lives up to its image.
5. An advantage over the tender – imagine you have the same product as another company, but your company is also open to the foreign market thanks to the English translation. What do you think – who will potential customers choose and whose site will stand out?

Should you translate social media posts?
Social networks are an indispensable segment of digital business, so it is crucial to adapt your posts on social networks to your target audience. This will contribute to greater visibility of your posts, greater brand reach, and consequently greater earnings.
Translations for legal entities for dental medicine
Dental tourism in our country develops rapidly. The news spread far and wide about the quality of dental services in Croatia, which have significantly lower prices than abroad. Besides having top experts on your team and the latest equipment, it is necessary to translate the description of your services into the language of those who plan to use them.
This includes the website translation, flyers, newsletters, certificates you own, invoices, brochures and other promotional materials, certificates, and manuals in case you sell some devices. You don’t want to lose potential clients because of bad translations. Remember, your website and other marketing tools leave an impression, and you want it to be done superbly and at the highest level, just like your service.
Translations for the cosmetics industry
If you import foreign cosmetic brands to place them on the Croatian market, all documentation related to these products must be translated into Croatian. This includes translating all marketing and promotional materials, declarations, instructions, descriptions, product composition, and expiration dates, which must be under Croatian regulations.
Translations of reviews
Young consumers, buyers, travellers, and tourists rely on reviews they read on various platforms, whether they are restaurants, cafes, bars, apartments, hotels, or hostels.
People trust other people’s experiences more than the service providers’ posts. Also, most of these potential users of your services understand English, so the reviews must be translated into English.
The reviews are primarily short, so it is vital to translate them as accurately as possible.
Instead of relying on a machine translation that can understand the written words literally and may not understand abbreviations, jokes, etc., I recommend that you contact a professional person who has experience in translations for tourism purposes for the translation. You can contact me for an offer here.
